How Natural Disasters break our Beliefs
Our Beliefs and Natural Disasters
We always believe that we are special, we have a destiny, and we are going to do something great. Our elders taught us this and great books teach us the same thing. But, when natural disasters hit any part of land, thousands of people die. Everyone of them thinks they are special. Hundreds of children who go to school believing that they are going to become scientists, doctors or pilots one day. Many parents who scarify their pleasures to keep their children happy. Endless love stories, who think they will live together. Infinite dreams and uncountable stories, all of them disappear in moments.
And yet we believe we are special. We work hard to achieve our dreams. Getting what we want has the probability of one in a million, but still be believe we are that one.
I don’t know what we should believe and what we should not. But, even if we believe we are special, we should be kind to all other people. Not because they too have same chances like you to be special. But because maybe no one of us is special. And let us build a new world with new things.
